Composed in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, PANDEMIC! traces the emotional journey of an extraordinary moment in modern history through three contrasting movements: Chaos, Requiem and New Beginnings. Frenetic uncertainty gives way to remembrance before the work ultimately searches for renewal and hope. The piece won 1st Prize in the When Tuba Come One International Composition Competition.
