• Joe has conducted a number of recording sessions with the Bristol Ensemble for his own pieces, but also worked with other groups in recording, including with the Cosmos Choir, Filton Concert Brass, and with a number of composers including Alexandra Hamilton-Ayres, Ben Mowat and Myles McLeod

Experienced across brass and wind band conducting, Joe has worked with community, youth and adult ensembles across the UK. He has conducted Bradwell Silver Band and Abertillery Town Band, alongside working with a range of youth brass bands, and has extensive experience with concert and wind bands across the South West. These include Winterbourne Wind Band, Apollo Wind Band, Bristol Concert Wind Band, Phoenix Wind Band, Westerley Winds and Brookfield Music Centre Wind Band through Gloucestershire Music.

BAND CONDUCTING

Experienced across community, youth and adult choirs, Joe has conducted ensembles throughout Bristol, Bath and Gloucestershire, working across traditional, contemporary and popular choral repertoire in venues including St George’s Bristol and St Mary Redcliffe, having too led a number of choral and songwriting workshops.
