Music for the Concert Hall
Joe Galuszka has written music for string quartet, brass band, orchestra, choir, and wind band. His most recent commission, A Symphony of Centuries, will receive its world premiere on 8th November, performed by Longwell Green Orchestra at the United Church in Longwell Green.
As an arranger, Joe has written music for The Ark Academy, the Bristol Ensemble, and the National Children’s Orchestra of Great Britain.
Music for Brass Band
In 2021, Joe was commissioned to write We Wish Tu-ba Merry Christmas, performed by 27 brass players from across the UK, US, and Asia. In 2023, his work Disinformation was performed by Solna Brass in Sweden, marking another milestone in his growing international presence. His tuba quartet Pandemic also won 1st Prize in the When Tuba Come One International Composition Competition.
Music for Choir
Having led choirs since 2023, Joe has written a number of works for SSA choir, most signifcantly his work ‘Crossing The Bar’ written initially in its original format for the Juice Ensemble at the 2018 Cheltenham Composers Festival.
As an arranger, Joe has written music for The Ark Academy, the Bristol Ensemble, and the National Children’s Orchestra of Great Britain.
